College doesn't actually start until the 21st, so I guess this doesn't really apply yet, but I'm going to make this work for college. I don't really know if this counts as MMA, but I started Brazillian jiu-jitsu a month ago and I started kickboxing about a week ago. The gym is primarily BJJ-focused but they have kickboxing lessons at night. I have a lot of fun sparring and drilling, but I really have to put a lot of effort into memorizing combinations and techniques. I think BJJ is definitely more cerebral than wrestling, but I still prefer wrestling over the other two. I'm excited to come back to the wrestling club on the 14th. I even picked out a campus that was really close to the gym and am giong
I still haven't renewed my data plan but I think I'll probably have to do it pretty soon because my number is tied to a few services that require 2FA authentication for signing in. For now I'm not really stressing about missing out on anything on the go, though. My phone plays music with the foobar2000 app, and I use Soulseek to transfer files.
i don't have much of a point here. i think what i'm trying to say is as much as i love the fun vernacular web or whatever you wanna call it, i'm rather more inclined towards brutalism in my digital buildings, and i don't think "plain" layouts have to be boring or souless. if anything, modern corporate web is a veneer of simplicity masking extremely convoluted code, whereas my "minimalism" is actually simple css on top of and complementing even simpler code. or something.
